MOLECULAR CHARACTERISATION OF ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE AND VIRULENCE GENES AMONG ESCHERICHIA COLI ISOLATED FROM URINARY TRACT INFECTION FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS

ABSTRACT
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a frequent illness in humans that affects any part of the urinary tract, including the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, and urethra. UTI scan be brought on by fungi, parasites, and viruses, but bacteria are to be blamed in 95% of the instances. E. coli causes 80-90% of all urinary infections it is in charge of the majority of cases of urinary tract infections. Instead of antibiotics Natural substances isolated from spices and herbs, Microorganisms, especially actino bacteria, are of great interest because they produce an abundance of antibiotics and other secondary metabolites that are helpful in the industry. The efficacy of the combination of two spice extracts, viz., Syzygiumaromaticum andTrachyspermumammi against UPEC for antimicrobial activity. Two marine fishes source namely Engraulis sp. And Trachurustrachurus were selected for the study. As a therapeutic approach co-culture method was also performed to enhance the anti-bacterial activity of fish gut-associated actino bacteria which showed a promising result. The aim of current research about to reduce the prolong usage of antimicrobial resistance, negative side effects in patients by choosing natural medicinal plant and marine sources instead of synthetic drugs.
