ABSTRACT
Reason behind the study: Stroke is a chronic cerebrovascular disease in which a blood vessel supplying
the brain is ruptured or blocked, leading to brain damage, which mainly affects the patients cognitive
function, hand function and Quality of life, Dual task training is performed for the people whose cognitive
or physical function are not smooth such as stroke patients, when two activities are performed
simultaneously to effectively carry out complex tasks, such as an increase in cerebral blood flow, then
single task training.
The main findings: The study is aimed to find out the Effects of Activity Based Dual Task Training on
Cognitive Function, Hand function and Quality of life in Stroke patients. The study showed that the dualtask training activities was effective on improving hand dexterity, cognitive function and quality of life in
stroke patients.
Conclusion: From the study, It was concluded that the activity based dual task training were effective on
improving Hand dexterity, Cognitive function, and Quality of life.
